Colors by Llarowe, Blue Blue Christmas

Hi loves! How are your holidays going? I wanted to come back on this blog today, Christmas’ Eve, to show you a super festive nail polish I received as a Christmas’ gift from a dear friend (thanks, Adry!) <3 The nail polish I’m talking about is Blue, Blue Christmas by Colors By Llarowe, which was the Polish of the Month of December 2015 of the American indie brand. This means that this nail polish is now discontinued and quite rare to find!

Blue, Blue Christmas is a cerulean holographic blue with tiny green glitter. It’s super opaque just with one coat, but it needs two coats to be perfect. It dries quickly and it’s very easy to apply. As we’re talking of a highly pigmented polish, clean up is not so easy and finding yourself with green cuticles is a concrete risk. But the colours looks so stunning on nails that I can forgive it almost everything <3

Why do I like it so much? 1) for the name (obviously!) 2) for the colour (you know I have a thing for blue nail polishes!) 3) I love the fact that CbL chose a blue nail polish for Christmas instead of the more traditional red, green and gold shades.

I didn’t know Blue, Blue Christmas before but now I know I couldn’t live without it!

Talking about Christmas, I had to stamp something festive over this beautiful polish. You know, Christmas’ Eve is the day when Santa Claus and his reindeers bring presents to all the good children all over the world, so I decided to paint them on my nails! I used the gorgeous CjS-C10 (Under The Mistletoe) stamping plate by Clear Jelly Stamper and Upadaisynails – which was a Christmas gift from the last year (thank you, Ale!).

That’s all for today, now I really have to go and finish wrapping my presents and prepare for tonight and tomorrow! I hope you’ll enjoy your holidays – and that Santa Claus will bring you everything you desire 😀
