Masura, The Walking Red

Masura x anikibee, The Walking Red

Hi everyone! Today I’m showing you a gorgeous holographic red nail polish that will make all the TV show addicts happy: The Walking Red by Masura.

The Walking Red is n. 1170 from the Golden Collection of the Russian brand and it was made in collaboration with Anja – @anikibee on Instagram. By creating this nail polish, Anja wanted to put together two interests of hers: her love for the TV show The Walking Dead and her love towards red nail polishes – could she ever find a better name for this polish then?

I must admit that I can’t completely appreciate The Walking Dead (I stopped watching the show at the fifth season), but I think that The Walking Red is a real masterpiece in a bottle: I’d define it as a deep cherry red with a holo finish. The colour builds up after every coat: with two coats it looks lighter (but already opaque), and after three coats it becomes darker, deeper and more similar to the bottle. Personally, I prefer it with three coats, which is how it looks in my pictures (I did three coats plus glossy top coat).
Moreover, The Walking Red is quite easy to apply and it dries quickly…in a word: flawless!

I’m very happy to have this beauty in my collection, not only because it’s a gorgeous nail polish, but also because it’s a gift from a dear friend (thank you, Adry!).

Masura nail polishes can be bought from many different stockists, depending on where you live: my favourite European stockists are Hypnotic Polish and Nailland.

But now, tell me: what do you think of The Walking Red? And what about The Walking Dead? 😀
