Valentine’s Nails: three nail art ideas for Valentine’s Day

Hi loves! Valentine’s Day is almost there, and if you are looking for some nail art inspiration for that day you have come in the right place! I have three romantic nail designs to show you: two of them are super easy and great also for beginners, while the other one is a bit more complicated.

Valentine's Nails 2018

Moo Moo Signatures, The Beginning of A Fairytale

My first nail art idea is super easy, since I simply combined two nail polishes. They come from The Beginning of A Fairytale Duo from the indie brand Moo Moo Signatures. The white nail polish with red glitter and hearts is named Bring Me Her Heart, while the red one with black glitter is The Evil Queen Has A Plan. Both of them required three coats plus top coat.

Moo Moo Signatures can be bought in Europe via Hypnotic Polish – the paradise of nail polish addicts!

My second idea is a bit more articulated but it’s still super easy to do, since I simply applied water decals on my middle and on my ring finger. If you want to know more about this product, you can read my post where I explain how to use water decals.

The decals I used here are item J 211 from the Russian brand MILV, which is probably the most famous producer of water decals. They can be bought at MilvArt official site, that ships worldwide at cheap prices.

These water decals require a white base, so I painted one coat of Snow Me White by Sinful Colors before applying them. On the other nails I did two coats of McKittrick by Cirque Colors, a gorgeous deep bottle green. Lastly I completed my manicure with Barry M matte top coat.

Reverse stamping with Moyra Stained Glass stamping plate

Lastly, I did a reverse stamping nail design. Reverse stamping is quite a complicated nail art technique, but its results are really gorgeous, since it allows you to paint inside stamped designs. If you don’t already know this technique you can look for some video tutorials online, so that you can see how it works.

The roses’ design comes from Stained Glass stamping plate by Moyra and I stamped it with Moyra white stamping polish. The nail polishes I used on my nails both come the Nature Sourced Formula line by Mi-Ny and are called Red Rose (on my pointer, my middle finger and inside the roses) and Soft Pink Blossom (on my ring finger and on my pinky). To fill the leaves I used Witching Hour by H&M.

Moyra stamping supplies can be bought in Europe from the hungarian shop Nailland. Nature Sourced Formula nail polishes by Mi-Ny are available in stores and at Mi-Ny online shop.

So, you just saw my Valentine’s nails ideas: I hope they can be kinda inspiring to you! Will you celebrate Valentine’s Day? Personally I won’t, but I like doing themed nails though!

One last thing before concluding this post: my next post will regard something really important and exciting, I can’t tell you more: it’s some months I’m keeping this secret and next week I will reveal it – all I can say is that is about nail polish!
