Ancient Greek Vase Nail Art

Hi girls!

Today I have a very unusual mani to show you! If you love history and archaeology as I do, you will surely appreciate this greek vase inspired mani!

For this manicure I used the plate Explorer 18 by MoYou London, which contains 18 greek inspired patterns. Many MoYou plates come in two versions: one for short nails and one with less patterns but bigger for long nails. I have obviously bought the one for short nails, but if you wish to get the plate for long nails then you should go for Explorer 9.

I stamped over an orange/terra cotta nail polish: my choice was Serenity from the Zen Collection by Mi-Ny.

To stamp I used the Crystal Clear Stamper by MoYou London and the black Ya Qi An stamping polish. I am a little bit disappointed because the designs didn’t transfer crisply on all the nails, but I really want to try to do this mani again, hoping to get a better result! Generally both the plate and the stamping polish worked great, but I had some problems with the stamper, which is quite squishy and sometimes it can distort the design a little bit (I had to try many times before getting perfectly horizontal stripes!). I think it’s my fault, and not stamper’s: probably I have to learn better how to use it.
