Mi-Ny Glam Lacquer 1, Miss Marylin
Today is a special day: I’m finally reviewing a nail polish that I used for almost every nail art I did in the last 6 months! I’m talking about Miss Marylin (*), a pure white nail polish by the Italian brand Mi-Ny.
Miss Marylin is part of the Glam Lacquer collection by Mi-Ny, and it comes inside a glass rectangular small bottle with a long comfortable cap and a flat thin brush.
Inside the bottle we find 11ml of nail polish that expires in 24 months.
A white nail polish is definitely a must-have for every nail art addict, but nonetheless it is not easy to find a perfect white nail polish. With “perfect white nail polish” I mean a nail polish which is opaque after 1/2 coats, with a smooth and not streaky formula and that of course looks great also worn on its own, not only as a base for a nail art.
Miss Marylin is really close to my idea of “perfect white nail polish”, because it is opaque after two thin coats, glossy, self-leveling and also fabulous on nails! Plus, it dries pretty fast and lasts for many days.
I love wearing Miss Marylin on my nails without any nail art, because I think it makes my hands look elegant and neat. I like this nail polish also because it dries very glossy, which is not so common with white nail polishes, that usually may look semi-matte.
For my pictures I decided to wear Miss Marylin together with a super cute ring set I bought from Tally Weijl 🙂
Miss Marylin costs 7,90€ and is available in Mi-Ny shops and also online from here. Ok, I know that it isn’t cheap, but I think that it’s really worth its price, especially if you wish to use it not only as a nail art base!
Do you use white nail polish often? Which one is your favourite, and from which brand? 🙂 Let me know!
