Born Pretty Store, 2mm Striping Tape

Today I have a new nail art for you! Since the last days have been rainy and grey, I decided to do my nail art in blue and grey. It’s very easy to do: I only used a grey nail polish and a blue striping tape (that was sent me by Born Pretty Store).

This striping tape is a little bit different from the common nail art striping tapes, because it’s wider than the others. I have always been looking for a bigger striping tape to do wider lines, and now I finally have it!

These are the products I used for my nail art:

• Base coat: P2 Cosmetics, 4 in 1 Complete Care
• Grey nail polish: Mi-Ny Cosmetics, Glam Lacquer n. 198 Tribal Grey
• Striping tape: Born Pretty Store
• Top coat: Essence Gel Look XXXL Volume

First I applied the protective base coat, then I painted two coats of grey nail polish. This one by Mi-Ny is a lovely light grey with a blue undertone, opaque after two coats.

I waited until the nail polish was perfectly dried, and then I applied the striping tape on my nails, cutting the excess with a nail clipper.

Then I completed my nail art with a glossy top coat.

As you can see, this nail art is very easy to do, it’s just a little bit annoying to wait a lot of time to make the nail polish completely dry before applying the striping tape.
