Starry Sky Nail Art

Hi girls!

Some days ago I received some new nail art accessories by Born Pretty Store, an online store I’m collaborating with. Between these new products there was a lovely set of 3D mother of pearl nail decorations in various shapes (star, square, round, pointed oval). The decorations of this set, especially the star-shaped ones, gave me the idea to create a starry sky inspired nail art.

This nail art is very easy to do, but it looks amazing! You can wear it with many different looks without looking too much striking.

You’ll need very few products to realize this nail art.

These are the products I used:

• Base coat: Calcium Gel by P2 Cosmetics
• Glittery blue nail polish: Kiko Quick Dry 856, Pearly Jeans
• White opaque nail polish: Mi-Ny Glam Lacquer 1, Miss Marylin
• Glossy top coat: Essence Gel Look XXXL Volume
• 3D star-shaped nail decorations by Born Pretty Store
• Small dotter

First I applied the base coat on my nails, then I did 2 coats of blue nail polish. I chose Pearly Jeans by Kiko because it has loads of silver sequins inside, and this reminds me of a starry sky.

Then I placed the star-shaped decorations on my middle and on my ring finger. These decorations by Born Pretty Store are very cute, but they are pretty big and have a flat back, so they won’t adhere perfectly: you should stick them to nails very strongly. The mother of pearl colour gives these decorations many pink, green and light blue reflections: I think this makes them look lovely!

Finally I used the dotter to paint some white dots to decorate the nail art. Then I applied a glossy top coat to make my nail art shine.

I love this nail art, I think it’s one of my best works! I like how blue and white match together, and the 3D stars look gorgeous!
