Born Pretty Store, Stamping Plate BP-L016

You probably already know that stamping is one of my favourite nail art techniques. So you’ll understand my happiness when Born Pretty Store sent me 4 of their new stamping plates to try!
Today I’m showing you the nail art I did with one of these plates, it is BP-L016 and you can find it here: Vintage Demask Theme Love Nail Art Stamp Template Image Plate BORN PRETTY BP-L016 12.5 x 6.5cm.
Plate BP-L016 is a rectangular plate which contains 22 stamping designs: 14 of them are full-nail designs, while the other 8 are smaller designs. This plate’s designs remind me of old wall papers, plus there are 3 designs with Audrey Hepburn and Marylin Monroe faces.
I’m really appreciating the big effort that Born Pretty Store is making to launch always new stamping plates, also the plates quality has become excellent and in my opinion it is as good as the plates of other well-known brands.
I have been very happy to see that also the packaging has changed: before the plates were just put in the envelope and shipped, now every plate is inside a small cartoon cover with tribal designs, that in my opinion is very pretty and elegant.
I decided to do a gradient stamping nail art with metal pink and metal purple. I love the contrast between these two colours!
The dark purple base colour is Kiko Quick Dry 829 (Blueberry), which is actually one of my favourite nail polishes. The weird thing is that when I bought this nail polish I didn’t like it very much, but now I just love it and I can’t live without it: I’d wear it every day and use it in every nail art!
Stamping nail polishes were Kiko Mirror Nail Lacquer 618 (Orchid Pink) and 621 (Violet). These nail polishes are great for stamping, it’s a pity they don’t sell them anymore!

On my ring finger and on my thumb I didn’t stamp anything, but I applied a purple and a pink rhinestone.

I really love this plate and I think I’ll use it often for my nail arts.
