Alessandro International, Kit I Sofisticati

Today I’m showing you 3 nail polishes from Alessandro International, which is a German brand very well-known in Europe and that is now available also in Italy.
This three-nail-polish set was sent to me by QVC Italia, one of the Italian sellers of this brand.
Alessandro International – Kit I Sofisticati – Nude Parisienne, Cashmere Touch, Merry Poppins
The kit I received is called I Sofisticati, and it contains three brown nail polishes:
- Alessandro International n. 69 – Nude Parisienne
- Alessandro International n. 98 – Cashmere Touch
- Alessandro International n. 88 – Merry Poppins
These nail polishes come in a 10ml rectangular bottle. The bottle cap is comfortable and also the brush is great, because it’s flat but not too big: so nail polish is very easy to apply.
These polishes expire in 18 months. Let’s see them!
Alessandro International n. 69 – Nude Parisienne

Nude Parisienne is a dark dove colour with a glossy creme finish. Formula is great: not too thick nor too thin, self-leveling and high-covering. You’ll need two thin coats to get a perfect colour on your nails 🙂
It dries in about 5-10 minutes, but it’ll need some more time if you do thick coats of nail polish.
On my nails it lasted a lot of days without any damage: after 3 days it was still perfect and glossy as the first day!

Cashmere Touch is a light dove with a creme glossy finish.
Formula, durability and drying time are very similar to Nude Parisienne‘s ones. It’s just a little bit more sheer than the darker one, but anyway it has great coverage and it’s perfect in two coats too.
I find it very elegant, it seems like a dark nude. It’s really nice to wear during the day and whenever you need your nails to look elegant but not eccentric.
In my opinion Cashmere Touch is perfect with Nude Parisienne for a two-colour nail art or even for a simple accent manicure 🙂

Alessandro International – n. 88 Merry Poppins
Merry Poppins is my favourite polish of this set. It contains many pink and green duochrome glitters in a dark brown/black sheer base. I think it has a jelly finish, because it’s pretty sheer and I needed four coats to make it fully opaque.
As the other two nail polishes it’s really long lasting and it’s just a very little bit more difficult to apply, but anyway the formula is great. It’s also very glossy and not too difficult to remove! 😉
Alessandro International – n. 88 Merry Poppins
Personally I prefer wearing it alone, but of course you can layer it over another nail polish. First I layered it over a black nail polish but I didn’t like the result at all. Then I tried to layer it over Nude Parisienne and I think it was really nice! You can see one coat of Merry Poppins over two coats of Nude Parisienne in the picture below:

It’s the first time I try something by Alessandro International and I must say that I really really like these products! These nail polishes are great: good formula, easy to apply, quick-drying, glossy and long lasting!
