Shaka ref. 465, Burn in Love

Shaka – ref. 465 – Burn in Love – 2 coats – no top coat

Hello beauties!

Today I want to show you a beautiful dark red from the Italian brand Shaka: I’m talking about n. 465, Burn in Love.

Shaka – ref. 465 – Burn in Love

This polish comes in a 5ml nail polish bottle, and it expires in 24 months. The brush is small and round, but I find the bristles too soft, so that it’s not easy to be precise and to avoid painting cuticles.

It’s not easy to define the colour of this polish: it seems a dark red with a subtle bordeaux shade, but it has a bright red shimmer finish that makes this polish brighter and lighter.

The formula is a little bit thick and not self-leveling, so that you will need at least two coats of polish to make it perfect. It dries quickly.

This polish is highly pigmented and it’s opaque after just one coat. It doesn’t last a lot of time, about two days without top coat. I prefer to wear it with a glossy top coat: the colour comes out beautifully and the polish lasts longer.

I took all the pictures under natural light. You see two coats of nail polish, without top coat. The shimmer finish is noticeable mainly under direct sunlight. You can see the dark red colour of this polish under natural indirect light or in the shade.

In questa foto si vede moltissimo lo shimmer rosso chiaro:

Actually this polish is sold only in Italian stores (OVS, Upim, Coin) and it’s not available on the Internet. Sorry, international readers! Anyway, if you have the chance to visit Italy, you can find the nearest store here, and buy this polish for 1,99€.

I like the colour of this polish, but I am not happy with the formula. I don’t know if it’s because of the polish or maybe because this polish had already been opened in the store before I bought it. I can’t be sure about that, because Shaka stands are kept in a bad way and products in stores can be opened and tried by almost everyone.

I hope you enjoyed my review! 🙂 What do you think of this polish?

Kisses

Ele
